Our protagonist reveals the wanderings of her endless trail across lands of known culture, heritage and womanhood, from blood to society, from Queendom to Desire, until she enters the Unknown Land and is encouraged to stand up and speak her Truth.

She Within Her

Her hands run deep in the soil
Turning each grain
Between her grasp
Asking to hold on
To every life
That passed through
This land of Gold.
Snow-capped mountains
With majestic voices
Sail the Skies
Beyond her view
Of Life,
Her Life.

A nomadic Queen, born of free
Wanders the streets of constraint.
Memories envelop her crown.
Diminished moments are faint
Within her
Becoming her.

She fills her soul with power
And listens to her word,
The ancient word of the land
Of one step forever forward
Within her
Beyond her.

Headlights blind her,
Street lights light her way.
Her balance falters
But her strength never sways
Within her
Forever her.

She recognized herself
As the woman who crossed the land
From blood to society
From culture to culture,
Enveloping all
Adapting to all.

Emerging as a distant Queen
From distant thought
And knowing.
One born of native blood,
A nomadic soul,
A wandering heart.

She enters, and leaves.
And enters again
The unknown lands
Known by many.
A voice unheard,
She rises up,
And speaks her truth
To those around.

Risen from the blood of Celtic warriors,
Nomadic in her way.
Light-footed upon the sand,
She wandered trail after trail
Searching for her soul,
Searching for the Queen within herself.
Step by step
She discovered her land.

As night did fall, the enveloping skies
Fell upon her and enriched her deepest dreams.
She no longer felt a Queen,
But felt her womanhood rise up within her,
Fractured with sensual desires,
Forbidden truths from cultures lost.

Mountainous winds blew her off balance
And tugged at her flesh.
As winds entangled her feet,
She lost her step,
Her rhythm slowed.
She felt the stillness,
The power within.

She knelt before herself
And asked for forgiveness
That she had turned
From that which is hers,
That which is she,
She that is her.

Her within She.
She within Her.
Her within She.
She within Her.
Her within She.
She within Her.
